46km challenging multi-use track through Tongariro Forest. Old logging road through native forest with views back to Tongariro volcanoes. Multiple stream crossings. NOTE: A large landslip currently prevents full end-to-end vehicle travel — motorbikes can use either end but cannot traverse the full track. No bypass for vehicles.
